What We’ll Be Doing:
- Ministry in Matagalpa and surrounding areas.
- Team will be involved in cooking, sewing, teaching nutrition and health.
- Other possible projects include water filters and/or stove installations.
The team is open to anyone with a willingness to serve.

What do my trip costs include?
All team trip costs include the following: Airfare, accommodations, ground transportation, translator fees, meals and water.
What is not included: exit tax to leave the country (if applicable), entry to tourist attractions or costs of ‘fun day’ activities and personal purchases such as souvenirs.
What are ‘project costs’?
Project costs are the costs of the ministry itself, aside from personal travel expenses. The project costs vary from team to team depending on the extent of work that will be done on the field. Typically, project costs range from $200-$300 per team member.
Is it safe for travel?
Travel in this Caribbean country is very safe. It is always advisable that volunteers dress modestly and leave any valuables at home.
What immunizations do I need to have?
Since immunization recommendations are ever changing and everyone’s personal health history is different we strongly recommend that you consult a travel clinic 6 weeks before travelling so that you can be up to date on all of your immunizations.
