Construction teams look for hardworking and dedicated workers to volunteer to help with the building of a school, church, medical centre, rescue shelter or home
Ministry is the heart of all the mission work that we do. It is our prayer that all who experience contact with any of these Exposure Teams will also experience the love of God and hear the Gospel message. Ministry is incorporated to all of our teams and includes visiting churches, praying together and sharing testimonies of faith with others.
Compassion teams minister to the lost and broken around the world. It is our hope that volunteers are able to show Christ like love to those who need it most. Examples include volunteering in orphanages, with disabled individuals and in recovery programs for those escaping addiction and prostitution.
Medical teams through MVC facilitate a way for trained nurses, doctors, dentists, hygienists, pharmacists or other health care professionals to set up health posts in areas with limited access to health care.
Educational teams travel to teach a variety of skills to both children and adults. These may include agricultural development and clean water initiatives, English as a second language, computer skills or personal health and hygiene
Nutrition teams work with children in feeding programs to provide kids with a hot meal as well as recreational and/or educational programming. MVC works with the Ontario Christian Gleaners to provide dried soup and fruit mix.
